SMPP relies heavily on precise encoding standards to ensure message integrity across different languages and devices. This subsection focuses on classes that implement and support GSM 7-bit encoding (GSM 03.38), including regional language packs and extended character mappings. These classes manage encoding strategies, septet/octet conversions, and slicing of message content based on character limits.

GSMCharset, GSMCharsetDecoder, GSMCharsetEncoder - core classes for GSM character handling.

ExtentionEncodings - contains predefined encoding maps for various languages.

GSMCharsetEncodingData, GSMCharsetDecodingData - metadata used during the encoding/decoding process.
