8. Virtual Network Management

A Virtual Network (VN) is a per-operator / per-region profile that tells the SMSC how to:

• reach subscriber data (SRI/home routing),
• address and deliver messages,
• talk to charging (Diameter RO or HTTP),
• and override SCCP/MAP addressing when a specific interconnect needs different values.

Use multiple VNs when you interconnect with several MNOs/MVNOs, or when one country/region needs different SCCP, MAP version, routing, or charging than another.

Important: Mobius SMSC only uses Virtual Networks that already created using Mobius Routing module.
