5. Testing and Deployment

Overview

The Mobius Diameter Application Server integrates into the WildFly runtime via a custom subsystem (mobius-software-diameter-mux). This subsystem enables the Diameter stack to operate as a first-class WildFly service, allowing structured configuration, managed lifecycle, and JMX-based runtime control.
The subsystem is deployed as a SAR module (.sar) that includes all required service classes, MBeans, and stack dependencies. Upon deployment, WildFly detects and initializes the subsystem through the extension mechanism defined in DiameterMuxExtension.
